Refund policy

We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and undamaged. Specifically, with no fingerprints on the pages or on the cover; with no pencil or pen markings, stains and scratches on the pages or on the cover; no water damage and, no bent or torn pages. The item must be in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, email us a message with your order number in the subject line at admin@storybookink.org.

We will inspect the returned item. If your return is accepted, we’ll inform you what the next step is as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

Sale and discount items are not eligible for returns.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Should your order arrive damaged, please take photos and email them to us. We provide tracking information on all of our orders. If your order does not arrive by the estimated due date, please wait 48 hours before contacting us. We will do our best to locate the package and extend your timeframe for refunds. Should your order be identified as lost with the shipping carrier, we will ship a new order out immediately.

Exchanges
At the present time we don't do exchanges. 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. You will be refunded the original price of the item plus the sales tax you might have paid but not the shipping charge. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. 
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and you have't received your refund please send us a message.

Returns for International Orders 
At the present time we don't accept returns for international orders.
